Sowerby Primary Academy currently has a vacancy for a Midday Supervisory Assistant.
MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT
Hours of work: 7.5 hours per week TTO 38 weeks
11.45am to 1.15pm Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary until 17th July, 2026
Grade: B SCP 2
FTE salary: £24,413.00 per annum
Pro rate actual salary £4,157.04 per annum

Sowerby Primary Academy is part of Elevate Multi Academy Trust. We are seeking to employ a Midday Supervisory Assistant to cover the lunchtime period, working predominantly in the lunch hall.
We currently transfer meals to Alanbrooke Academy. Part of this roll will include transferring these lunches a certain number of days a week. On these days your start time will be 11.10am. Arrangements will be made to claim mileage and additional hours separately.
We are looking for a candidate who is:
· passionate about education and inspiring children
· able to take pride in making a difference to young people's wellbeing
· demonstrate a patient approach and the ability to inspire and motivate
· experienced using positive behaviour tools in a work capacity.
· has a great sense of humour and resilience and enjoys working as part of a team.
