On Monday 16^th of September, Jade class found a baby hoglet in the garden outside.They took it to Mrs Ungerechts who very kindly took it to Skeldale Vets. The children have been interested in the hoglets progress, and have had lots of questions about it. They received an update the next day along with a picture. The hedgehog is feeling much better and has grown spikes! On Wednesdayr it was taken to a hedgehog sanctuary to be looked after.

The children have learnt that hedgehogs hibernate along with other animals such as dormice and bats. They have made pictures of the hoglet, made hedgehog houses, and even made their own paintings
