Here at Sowerby Academy, we LOVE reading! We enjoy fiction and non-fiction books, as well as comics. 

We are excited to learn that during the summer holidays, Thirsk Library are running a reading challenge!

So, what do we need to do? Well here is a brief run down, but for more details, click on the link below:

Read anything that makes you happy such as a comic or poetry, a non-fiction or fiction book or even an e-book.  You can read your own books from home or an e-book from the library.  So each time you finish a book, you just write a review and then add it to your profile.  You're rewarded with different activities and incentives such as online badges and games.  There are also quizzes if you're up for another challenge!

Once you have completed your reading challenge, reward yourself with a certificate that you can print off!
